With ResourceBlender Express
If you would like to update the text used on your end user pages from the automatic translation used, you can easily do this for all languages, including English, following the given steps:

Step 1) Download ResourceBlender Express

Step 2) Install ResourceBlender Express

Step 3) Launch ResourceBlender Express


Step 4) Update the correct resource file.
What language do you want to modify?
Do you know the Language Culture Name?
If not open this Excel Spreadsheet to find the Language Culture Name for the Language you would like to modify.

Note: We created specific language-culture sets for some languages.
For example: French Canadian is fr-CA and French French is fr-FR
For some languages like Russian we did not create a
language-cultures sets, instead they have just the main language.
In this case it's RU. If you would like to create a new
language-culture set, see this article: How to create a new language culture set.

All resource files are located in this folder from the root of your site: ~/App_GlobalResources/
Note: you can only access this folder with an FTP client (like FileZilla) or Remote Desktop. Folders this one are protected from being accessed via the internet.
Based on the Language Culture Name open the correct folder. Example: French - Belgium is ~/App_GlobalResources/fr-BE/

There will be 2 files in each folder.
  1. Backend.XX-XX.resx - These strings are only displayed on the Administrative and Box Office pages
  2. LocalizedText.XX-XX.resx - These strings are primary displayed on the Public and in some parts of the Administrative and Box Office pages

Step 5) Open the correct file with ResourceBlender Express

Step 6) Make your edits

Double click the "Translation Text", example:

Step 7) Save & Upload
Then click save. Be sure to upload the file back to the correct location on the web server.
We recommend that you make a backup copy of any file that you ever change on your website.
